Composite tanks, pipes, scrubbers, and other structures are key components in safely handling, storing, and transportation of highly corrosive fluids and other hazardous products. Not only is the structural design for these components critical, so are the physical properties of the materials that make them up and how they react over time when subject to these highly corrosive chemicals.
Vectorply’s standard low boron content E-glass reinforcements provide a high degree of chemical resistance and have been used over the years in various small and large scale applications requiring high corrosion resistance. Where ideal chemical resistance is required and specified, several Vectorply reinforcement fabric options are available using “boron free” E-CR glass input fiber.
